Our Process

From First Click to Launch Day - Here's Exactly What to Expect

We know hiring a web designer can feel like a leap of faith. That’s why we’ve built a process that keeps you informed, in control, and confident at every stage, without overwhelming you with technical details or endless back-and-forth. Most projects go from kickoff to live site in 2 to 4 weeks.

Step 1: Tell Us About Your Business

Fill out our project form. It takes less than 5 minutes.

Everything starts when you complete our short contact form. We’ll ask about your business, your goals, the pages you need, and any design inspiration you have in mind. This gives us everything we need to hit the ground running — no lengthy questionnaires, no phone tag, no wasted time.

What we’ll ask:

  • What your business does and who your customers are
  • Which services or package you’re interested in
  • Any websites you admire (for design direction)
  • Your target launch date

Step 2: Strategy & Proposal

We map out your project and send a clear proposal.

Once we’ve reviewed your form, we put together a tailored project proposal — outlining the scope, timeline, deliverables, and investment. No vague estimates or surprise add-ons later. If you have questions, we’re happy to jump on a quick call to walk through it together.

Upon approval, we collect a 50% deposit to reserve your spot in our production schedule and get the project officially underway.

What happens here:

  • Customized project proposal delivered to your inbox
  • Clear timeline with milestone dates
  • Signed agreement so everyone is protected
  • 50% deposit to lock in your start date

Step 3: Discovery & Content Gathering

We learn your brand. You hand over the assets.

Before a single pixel is placed, we take time to understand what makes your business unique. We’ll send you a straightforward content checklist — logos, photos, copy, brand colors, and anything else we need. Don’t have everything? No problem. We can advise on stock photography, placeholder content, and copywriting to fill the gaps.

What we’ll collect:

  • Your logo files and brand colors
  • Photos, videos, or product images
  • Page copy (or notes if you need us to write it)
  • Any existing brand guidelines or preferences

Step 4: Design

We build your site on a private staging environment.

This is where the magic happens. Using everything we’ve learned about your business, we design and develop your full website on a private staging link — so nothing goes live until you’re completely happy with it. You’ll be able to view the real site in your browser, click through pages, and experience it exactly as your customers will.

We keep you in the loop without overwhelming you:

  • Staging link shared for your review when ready
  • Two full rounds of revisions included
  • Clear feedback process — no design jargon required
  • Mobile and cross-browser testing completed before review

Step 5: Your Review & Revisions

You give feedback. We refine until it's right.

When your staging site is ready, we send you the link along with a simple feedback guide. You review at your own pace and send us your notes — big or small, nothing is too minor to mention. We complete your first round of revisions within 2 business days, then repeat for round two if needed.

How the revision process works:

  • Review the staging site on your own time
  • Compile your feedback in one consolidated list
  • We apply all changes and notify you when ready
  • Final sign-off from you before we move to launch

Step 6: Launch

We go live, submit to Google, and hand you the keys.

Once you’ve given final approval, we migrate everything from staging to your live domain, configure all technical settings, and submit your site to Google for indexing. Then we walk you through the backend so you feel confident making basic updates on your own — no developer dependency required.

What launch day includes:

  • Migration from staging to your live domain
  • SSL certificate activation and security checks
  • Google Search Console and Analytics setup
  • XML sitemap submission to Google
  • Walkthrough training so you can manage your site
  • The remaining 50% balance is collected at launch.

Step 7: Post-Launch Support

We don't disappear after go-live.

Every project includes a dedicated support window after launch — so if anything needs tweaking, if you spot something on a device we didn’t test, or if you just have questions about your new site, we’re right here. For clients who want ongoing peace of mind, our monthly maintenance plans keep everything secure, updated, and running at peak performance.

  • Starter package: 30 days post-launch support
  • Business package: 60 days post-launch support
  • E-Commerce package: 90 days post-launch support
  • Maintenance plans available for ongoing care
